Pick how you'd like to keep your clock.
A guest clock lives in this browser only — it survives reloads, but not a cleared cookie or a different device. Sign in with Google to carry your settings everywhere. Either way, the only thing stored is your sex, birth date, and a few toggles.
The clock starts from the SSA 2023 life table — the average number of years a person your age and sex has left — and reads smoothly between birthdays. It shows those remaining years directly, so it falls a touch slower than real time (about 0.84 of a second per second at 51), while your expected end-date drifts later at the leftover ~0.16; the two always add up to one second. Each lifestyle toggle doesn't subtract a fixed number of years — it shifts your clock to that of someone a few years older or younger, so the effect shrinks naturally as you age (a habit can't take back years you no longer have). The numbers beside each are today's effect. They're rough rules of thumb, not a medical estimate. Source: ssa.gov life table.
